well i do have a little something to say about beer!

you may, or may not know, that i recently became a homebrewer. late last year i was invited by hugh halter to a “brew party” … hugh is a friend and a local pastor of a faith community here in south denver called adullam … about 20 people gathered together and hugh, the brewmaster-pastor taught us how to brew our own! … it was a spiritual moment in time …

somehow santa found out i wanted to be a homebrewer and left me a homebrew kit for christmas … i wasted no time and brewed my first the day after christmas … it was an E.S.B. … i named “Recovery Ale” as “’twas the day after christmas and all through the house …” … you know, 6 kids and all … then another on new year’s eve … it was an Alt Bier … my borther was in town from california and we brewed it together … so we called it “Brother’s Ale” … and then … well, i got beer baby … and i was hooked!

really don’t have anything to say just yet, but have been playing around with wordpress (just did fantastico upgrade of wp 2.2.2) … also adding some plugins … thought i’d try em out and maybe start saying something … maybe …

i have been listening to rob bell lately … he really is saying something … he will be in here in denver at the paramount theater on nov 7 … we plan on attending with some friends … hope to see you there.
